It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas "Tom" Norman Seaman, age 68, of Amherst. Tom passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, November 10, 2015.
Born in Amherst, NS, he was a son of Blanche Darragh Seaman, and the late Norman Seaman.
Tom grew up on a farm. He worked around cars his whole life working in a variety of dealerships, always in the parts department. He loved all sports, and always looked forward to a good hockey game. He loved listening to music, country and of course Elvis.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 42 years, Carolyn Anne MacLeod Seaman, Amherst; children Brian (Dawn), Dieppe, NB; Kellie Seaman, Amherst; grandson Jaiken; mother Blanche Seaman, Lake Killarney; brothers Wylie (Ruth), Lake Killarney, NS, Brian (Doreen), Amherst, NS and Gene (Vicki), Lake Killarney; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Furlong~Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777) where an Afternoon of Remembrance will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 2 pm until 4 pm.
Donations in memory of Tom may be made to the Canadian Diabetes, or the charity of your choice.
