CLENDENNING, JOHN
John A. Clendenning of Hartland, NB passed away on November 13th, 2015 at the Veteran's Home in Fredericton. He was born October 11th, 1919 son of the late John(Jack) and Elizabeth Clendenning.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife Isabel, his sisters Viola Seeley, Madeline Cattelle, Francis Billings and brothers Burt, Dennis and William.
John is survived by six children, Judy (Boyd), Blair (Janet), Malcolm (Pamela), Dana (Colleen), John (Evelyn), Alanda Root (Cameron); eleven grandchildren, Jamie, Michael, Darren, Derek, Shannon, Julie, Scott, Erin, Patrick, Jordan, Laura; six great-grandchildren, Aylssa, Brianna, Matthew, Kyla, Liam, Alli, Phoenix, Kitana and Rowan, sister-in-law Laura Clendenning and many nieces and nephews.
John was a World War II veteran spending five years overseas as a member of the Carleton York Regiment- Forestry division. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 63 years.
Visitation will be at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland on Tuesday, November 17th from 11 to 2 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. in the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mike Horsman officiating.
