DAIGLE, CLARENCE
(1933-2015)
ALDOUANE, NB – Clarence Daigle 81, of Aldouane, NB passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton on Saturday, November 14, 2015. Born in Kouchibouguac, NB, he was the son of the late Thomas Daigle and late Delphine (Daigle) Daigle.
Clarence was an accomplished and meticulous bricklayer/mason and an avid outdoorsman; he loved to fish, hunt and play crib. His later passion in life became gardening.
Clarence will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 58 years Jeannette (Johnson) Daigle of St. Ignace; three daughters, JoAnne Daigle (Anthony Efejuku)of Prescott, ON, Gloria Robichaud (Georges) of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, Cordélia Richard (Jean-Guy) of Dieppe and four grandchildren, Chantal, Guylaine, Jolyanne and Gabriel. He is also survived by two brothers, Joseph Daigle (Lillianne) and Leonard Daigle (Ethel) both of Aldouane and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one daughter, Dianne; one grandson, Philippe; four sisters, Alma, Lina, Rita, Stella and five brothers, Melvin “Tim” (Elizabeth), infant twin Robert, Alfred (Dora), James and Aurèle (Phebee).
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm, Wednesday at 2:00 pm until departure of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto. Interment will be in the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery.
