It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, Kevin Eugene Boone on Nov. 10, 2015, at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, Alta.
Born Feb. 19, 1961 at St. Rita's Hospital, Sydney, N.S., he was the son of Marie Boone and the late Joseph Boone.
Over the years Eugene held various jobs, mainly in Northern Alberta.
Eugene is survived by his mother Marie (Lahey) Boone, Sydney; his sister Valerie (Roland Williams), Lake Ainslie, N.S.; nephews, Matthew Boone, Calgary and Dr. Michael Boone (Dr. Andrea Kirby), Edmonton and sister-in-law Beverley Boone, Calgary; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Eugene was predeceased by his father Joseph and his brother Leo Joseph Boone.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 23, 2015 from 12-2 p.m. at Immaculate Conception parish, Main a Dieu, with funeral mass to follow at 2 p.m. with Fr. Jonathan officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of S.S. Chant $ Son Funeral Home, Sydney.
