BUCKLAND, Theresa Mary (nee Francis)
September 5, 1963 – November 21, 2015

Our gentle soul Theresa, beloved daughter of Victor and Velda (nee Bright) Francis passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, November 21, 2015, after a long battle with cancer.

Cherished partner and best friend to Kenny Roach. Loving mother of Brittany (Zach), and Brooke (Anthony). Theresa will be enormously missed by her sisters Marilyn, Wilma, Nancy, Sherry, Emma (Kaz), Carla (Michael) Kimberly (Elliott). Loving Grammy to Nevaeh, Noah, Connor and Emma. Treasured aunt of TJ, Brandon, BreAnn, Janay, Aaron and Madison.

Theresa resided in Hamilton, Ontario and was born in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia where she continually nurtured and maintained strong family roots. Theresa’s outgoing personality and winning smile will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

A special heartfelt thanks to Dr. Bessik and the staff of Credit Valley Hospital and the wonderful caring nurses who supported her through her journey. We also wish to sincerely thank Barb, Jan and Winston who provided love and support.

Cremation has taken place. A “Celebration of Life” will be held in Nova Scotia on Saturday, November 28th at 2:00 pm at the Annapolis Royal Fire Hall. A date and time for a service in Ontario will be announced at a later date.
