It is with great sadness that the family of the late Magdalen Bennett announces her passing at the Seniors Home in Clarkes Beach on Wednesday November 25th, 2015 at the age of 101 years. She will be sadly missed by her four sons; Bryan (Melina) in Ontario, Percy (Loretta) in Avondale, NL, Calvin (Judy) in Dartmouth, NS and Gerard in Bradford, ON, her two daughters; Rona (Ken) Horne in Mount Vernon in Maine and Bernadette Smith in Cambridge, ON, her sister Lee Massenburg in Denison, Texas, 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren along with her lifelong friends Edward and Thelma Murphy in Kippens and many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Charles A. Bennett, her son Earl Bennett and her son-in-law David Smith. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 28th, 2015 at 10 am from St. Stephen's Parish on West Street with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery on West Street. Friends may call at Russell's Funeral Home 57 Prince Rupert in Stephenville on Friday, November 27th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
