Passed peacefully away at St. Luke's Home, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, November 26, 2015, age 78 years. Predeceased by his parents John and Louisa Stapleton and sister Elizabeth. Left with fond and loving memories his wife of 43 years Maureen (Murphy); sons Ian (Tara) and Colin (Alicia-Rae); three grandchildren Malachy, Charlie and Clarke; brother Michael (Genevieve); brothers-in-law William Murphy (Sandra), Edward Murphy (Rosemary) and Joseph Murphy (Isobel) and sister-in-law Joanne Walsh (Brian), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Luke's for their compassionate care over the past four months. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of the World Parish.
