SOUCOUP, KIMBERLEY ANN
1960 - 2015
Kimberley Ann Soucoup, our beloved Sister, Aunt, Friend and Wife passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on December 5, 2015, at the age of 55. Born in Sussex, she was the Daughter of Betty McKnight (Allen) of Havelock and William Hicks (Jeannine) of Memramcook.
Kim will be sadly missed by her husband of 30 years, William "Bill" Soucoup; sisters, Susan (Kent) Howatt of Petitcodiac, Pamela (Stanford) Melvin of Cornhill, brother Jason Hicks (Melanie); sisters-in-law, Gail Soucoup (Henry Drew), Susan Soucoup, Janet Rose Hurst and Trudy Lautz (Kevin). Kimberley (Kimmie) loved her nephews and nieces as if they were her own children; Jesse, Abby, Madison, and Charley.
Predeceased by her in-laws, James and Kathleen (Gray) Soucoup.
Kim loved her horses and shared her passion for them with many people who knew her. Her true home was in the barn that Bill built for her and her horses. She enjoyed the outdoor life and could always be found walking her dogs, Tinsel and Paddy, down the pipeline in any weather.
Kim retired as a 911 Operator/Police Fire Dispatcher in April 2013 after dedicating 29 years of her life to the City of Moncton.
A gathering to Celebrate and share memories of Kim’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Reception Centre, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and the family invites guests to share their fondest memories of Kim.
In Kim’s memory, donations to Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
