Lieu de décès : Lockeport, Nouvelle Ecosse, Canada
Date de décès : 4 décembre 2015
ESHELBY, Denyse Zee “Deny”, 86, Lockeport, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Friday, December 4, 2015. Deny was born in Shanghai, China. After the end of the Second World War she came to Montreal, with her mother and brother, to study English at McGill University. Later she studied Fine Arts at McDonald College, moved to Port Clyde in 1972, and had a successful career as a potter, sculptress, and a teacher. Deny lived a rich, full and fascinating life and her skills as a raconteur kept all those who heard her stories captured. Deny’s passing leaves a hole in the heart and soul of the many people who loved her. She was never truly aware of how many lives she touched. She will be missed by many. In many ways it’s a sad day and it’s a good day, she ended life the way she lived life, her way. She is survived by son, Robert Eshelby and daughter, Dayle Eshelby; grandchildren, Layla, Lee and Emiliano; great-grandchild, Morgan; nieces, Laura and Wendy and nephew, Allen. She was predeceased by husbands, Roy Eshelby and Donald Rubin; brother, Michael and sister Perelita. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home. A wake in celebration of her life will be held in the new year. On-line condolences may be sent to: hmhuskilson@ns.aliantzinc.ca or you may sign the guest book at: www.huskilson.net
