COREY, WILLIS N.
Willis N. Corey, 88, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, December 6, 2015. Born in Fork Stream, he was the son of the late Nase and Cora (Keirstead) Corey.
Willis was a retired mechanic with Canada Post.
Willis will be sadly missed by his wife of over 65 years, Helen (Thorne) Corey; daughters, Debra Corey of Toronto, ON and Cindy Sawyer (Peter) of Scarborough, ON; grandson, Derek (Erin); great grandson, Hudson; sisters, Flossie Hebert (late Edgar) of Dieppe and Lois Moss (Stanley) of Havelock; brothers, Mac (Pat) of Moncton and Fred (Carley) of Petitcodiac; sisters-in-law, Marguerite Corey of Havelock, Shirley Corey of Ontario and Hilda Walker (Tennyson) of Moncton; brother-in-law, Stuart Thorne (Jean) of Petitcodiac; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Earl, Warren and Marion.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, followed immediately by a Service to celebrate the life of Willis at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Jerry Reddy officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment to be held at Loyalist Cemetery, Havelock.
In memory of Willis, donations to Hillside Baptist Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
