ATWOOD, Nancy “Louise”, 70, South Side, Cape Sable Island, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Bay Side Home, Barrington. Born March 10, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Ethran and Elizabeth (Nickerson) Nickerson. Louise loved spending time with her sister Beverly playing cards, Bingo or just to do a little shopping. She enjoyed visits and would always ask when her grandson Graham would be home for a visit from University. She looked forward to spending Christmas in the valley with her brother Reginald, niece Lorraine and family. Louise will always be remembered and loved for her great wit and spunky personality. She is survived by her sons, Troy, Barrington; Trebor, Barrington; Dwayne (Tammy), Clark’s Harbour; step-son, Monty (Claire), Clyde River; brother, Reginald, Berwick; sister, Beverly, South Side; grandsons, Robert (Twyla), Clark’s Harbour; Graham, Clark’s Harbour; great-grandchildren, Jaylyn, Camo, Piper; many nieces and nephews. She predeceased by her grandson, Andrew; step granddaughter, Marina; brothers, Edwin, Robert, Edger; sisters, Phyllis, Mary and May. There will be a visitation held Thursday, 7-9 p.m., at the H M Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. The Funeral Service will be Friday, December 11, at 2 p.m. in the H M Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, with Pastor Brad Pass officiating. Interment to follow in the White Lily Cemetery, South Side. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
