Masters, Robert “Bob”
Passed away peacefully at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw on December 14, 2015. Bob, at the age of 76 was predeceased by his beloved wife Elsie (2010), by his 5 brothers and by his parents. He will be missed by his daughter Theresa Schumacher (Herb), his grandsons Tyson, Metro and Leonard, his brother Doug (Judy), his sister Bev Wetteland and by his numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Bob was born in Neepawa, MB on March 23, 1939 to Jack and Gladys Masters. He grew up in Neepawa attending the Neepawa Area Collegiate. He married Elsie Mary Repko in 1964 and the couple spent several years in Neepawa raising their daughter until moving to Moose Jaw after being transferred to Canada Salt Ltd. on Kalium Rd. Bob retired from Canada Salt after 43 years of dedicated service, giving him more time to enjoy the outdoors and nature. He loved going for walks with his dogs and going camping, especially near his hometown of Neepawa, MB. After Elsie’s passing in 2010, with failing memory, a move to Oxford Place and then later on to Extendicare became necessary. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2015 in the Broadfoot Chapel at Parkview Funeral Chapel, with Father Rick Krofchek officiating. Bob will be laid to rest beside Elsie at Rosedale Cemetery at a later date.
