Reid, Greta Mae
Greta M. Reid of Millville, NB passed away December 17, 2015 at Central Carleton Nursing Home in Hartland, NB. Greta was born at Woodstock, NB in 1933, a daughter of the late Samuel and Alice (Morgan) Webber. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Millville Branch 59, Royal Canadian Legion. For many years Greta organized the Terry Fox Run in her community.
She is survived by her children, Clifton Reid (Audrey), Millville, NB, Dianne Martin, St. John’s, Newfoundland and Ricky Reid (Kathy), Rossville, NB; her grandchildren, Wendell (Stacey) and their children Summer, Lexie and Callie, Reid, Krissy (Chris) and their children, Kaylen and Kylie; her sister, Shirley Coughlin (Buddy), Hartland, NB; her brother, Dale Webber (Roberta), Cloverdale, NB and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Greta was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Reid in 1983, a brother, Lloyd Webber, two infant children and a son-in-law, Christopher Martin in July of 2015.
Visitation will take place at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 12 noon until the hour of service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Blinn officiating. Interment will follow at the Cloverdale Cemetery.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Greta, the family has suggested the Cloverdale Cemetery, the Central Carleton Nursing Home or the Alzheimer Society.
