GODIN, Celine Marie – Age 85, of Eel Brook, passed away on December 24, 2015, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Ste. Anne-du-Ruisseau on November 26, 1930, she was a daughter of the late, Isaac and Chantal (Comeau) Deveau. Celine was a seamstress by trade and she also was the head cook at Saint Anne-du-Ruisseau High School. Celine is survived by her loving husband, Albert Godin; children, Roland Godin, Norwood; Odette Godin, Florida; Daniel Godin, Eel Brook; Emile Godin, Eel Brook; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild. She was predeceased by her siblings, Alphonse, Emile, and Elsie. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. By request of the family there was no visitation. A funeral mass was held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. in Saint Anne’s Catholic Church, Ste. Anne-du-Ruisseau, Father Albenie d’Entremont officiated. A burial will be held at a later date. It has been requested that there be family flowers only.
