JOHNSON, Alonzo E. Garth - died in Yarmouth Regional Hospital on December 29th, 2015, following a brief illness. Garth was born January 30th, 1937 in Oxbow, NB; the youngest of Alonzo and Ruby (Currie) Johnson’s fifteen children. Garth, known as Zeke to his immediate family, is survived by his children; Brant (Gina Landry) of Dartmouth NS, Lynette of Halifax NS and Krista (Bill Barnes) of Southington CT, as well as two grandchildren, Alexander and Joseph Johnson Barnes. Garth also leaves behind three sisters; Mavis Everett of Plaster Rock, NB, Greta Campbell (Wendell) of Plaster Rock, NB, and Naida Margison of Woodstock, NB. He was predeceased by his wife Bernice d’Entremont, five brothers; Walter, George, John, William and Wayne and six sisters; Vida, Hazel, Alice, Janie, Anna, and Jackie. With respect to Garth’s wishes, no services was held. Interment will follow at a later date. Donations may be made to the cemetery upkeep fund of Église Ste.-Anne-du-Ruisseau Church or the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to H. M.
