Renate (nee Braun) Reindl
January 28, 1936 – December 30, 2015
The family of Renate Reindl, late of Christopher Lake, SK is sad to announce her sudden death on December 30, 2015, at the age of 79 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Michael Reindl. Renate was born in Berlin, Germany, in January of 1936 and immigrated to Canada in 1956. Since then, she has lived in Saskatoon and Prince Albert, but for the last 27 years, her jewel, Christopher Lake. It is here that she loved the falling snow, the peace and quiet, tending her flowers, feeding the birds, but most of all, she loved the people. Besides being a wife and mother, she helped run the family business and a business of her own in “the village”. Renate had a sharp wit, always loved a good story, and receiving big hugs from her many friends, whom she considered family. Renate is survived by her son and daughter in law; sister Elke, brother-in-law, John; and brother, Dieter. Renate will surely be missed by her family and friends.
