Jane Marlene MacPherson left this world on Dec. 16, 2015.
One day a precious child was born and she was called Jane. She grew up to be a beautiful woman devoted to her family and friends. She gave generously and willingly to everyone she met. Even when her knees complained with every step her kindness reached out and touched the world. When at last life appeared to be smiling on Jane, cancer knocked on her door. The Lord looked down and said "Enough" and gave her wings.
Jane has left behind to mourn her absence and remember her 'spirit' the most bragged about brother ever, Calum Brent MacPherson, and sister by choice, Marian Shea. First cousins or 10th cousins, all were family and dear to her.
The retirees and co-workers with the NS Government Purchasing Agency of 35 years, work family, Edgewood United Church, family in faith, neighbours, and all whose lives she touched, "Just One Big Family”. Family waiting with open arms to reunite with Jane – dad, Malcolm MacPherson and mom, Alma (Janes) MacPherson.
Funeral services to be held on Monday, Jan. 11, 2016 at 2 p.m. in Hope United Church, formerly Edgewood-Oxford United Church, 3055 Connaught Ave., Halifax.
