We the family regret to announce the passing of Hazel Louise Dean, 90, on Jan. 4, 2016 at the Glace Bay Hospital, formerly of Ling Street, Glace Bay she was a resident of Seaview Manor for the last number of years.
Louise was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Lawrence.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Anglican Church Glace Bay and also a member of the CNIB.
Louise is survived by daughter Elizabeth (Marv) King; sons, Jimmie (Colleen), Albert (Debbie), Dennis (Bev); daughter-in-law Brenda Dean. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Besides her parents, Louise was predeceased by husband John, son Reggie, sisters, Irene Parsons and Mary MacKeegan.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Glace Bay. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of Seaview Manor, staff of the outpatient department of Glace Bay, Dr. Rose MacKay and the staff of 3East of the Glace Bay Hospital.
