With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Barbara Jean Murphy of New Annan, age 53, on January 6, 2016, surrounded by family, she finished her battle with cancer at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside. Born in Summerside on March 31, 1962, daughter of Inez (Reeves) Wall and the late Ellsworth Wall. Barbara is survived by her beloved husband and best friend Urban Murphy; her sons Michael (Rebecca) and Mitchell; grandchildren, Emily and Urban. She will be forever remembered by her sisters and brother, Audrey (Alan) Gamester, Marlene (Dennis) Pidgeon and Garth (Sharon) Wall; sisters-in-laws Mary (Lester) Waite, Noreen (Carl) Waite, Helen (Gordon) Gaudet; and brother-in-law Gary Gallant. She leaves a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her father and mother-in-law Roland and Loretta Murphy.
