MEISTER, John “Jonathan” A., 73, of Clyde River, Shelburne County passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, January 11, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Quedlinburg, Germany on May 10, 1942. His family immigrated to Canada when he was a young boy and they lived in B.C. John was married to Maureen on Christmas Eve and they were together for 38 years. John worked as an electrical engineer for BCTV/Global TV for over 25 years. He enjoyed sailing, music, computers and growing flowers. In his retirement years, he enjoyed operating Clyde Farm Campground. John is survived by wife, Maureen; children, Julieann, James, Andrew and Jason; brother, Peter and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
