The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, January 18, 2016, of Phyllis Mary Milligan of Wedgewood Manor, formerly of Poplar Grove, aged 79 years. Born in Poplar Grove on June 6, 1936, daughter of the late Arthur and Veronica (Bulger) Milligan. Dear mother to Sandra Milligan, Summerside, and loving grandmother to Matthew, Melissa, Mark, Melanie, and to great-grandsons Aiden, Liam, Dax and Abby. Phyllis is also survived by her brother Lester (Verna) Milligan, Poplar Grove; and sister Kay MacCaull, Eastern Passage, N.S.; sister-in-law Doris Arsenault, Riverview, N.B.; and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, brother Arthur Jr. (Enid), Leroy Arsenault, nephew Bruce Milligan and brother-in-law Patterson MacCaull. Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Thursday, Jan. 21, from 4-7 p.m. and Friday morning until 10 a.m., then to St. Brigid's Roman Catholic Church, Foxley River, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment at a later date in the parish cemetery. www.fergusonsfh.com
