It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of Katie Muise on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2016 at the Glace Bay Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Rod and Annie MacMullin.
Katie loved sewing, knitting and especially cleaning.
Katie is survived by her children, James (Monique), Ontario, Mercedes (Doug), Ontario, Peggy (Ken), Gardiner Mines and Andrea, New Waterford; sister, Peggy (Joe), Ontario; sister-in-law, Frances MacMullin; grandchildren, Miranda (Sheldon), Calgary, Christopher (Belinda), Hamilton, Eric (Stephanie), Trenton, Aaron (Crystal), Petawawa; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Avery, Sierra, as well as many loved nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Elmo; son, EJ; sisters, Catherine MacNeil, Rhodena Connors, Effie Duggan, Mary Williams; brothers, Roddie MacMullin, Frank MacMullin, as well as two in infancy.
Cremation has taken place. A chapel service and Interment will take place at a later date.
