Middle Sackville - Doris Eloise “Dorie” (Henderson) Langille, age 73, of Middle Sackville, formerly of New Glasgow, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 in the QE II New Infirmary, Halifax, surrounded by family.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Kitchener Baynard Langille Sr. and Queenie Eloise (Harper) Boggs.
In earlier years, Dorie worked at the West Side Restaurant, New Glasgow, Trenton Legion and was a shift supervisor of a cleaning company, GDI Services Canada LP, Halifax.
Dorie loved her little dog Mandy.
Surviving are her children: Sheila Wallace (Gary Johnstone), New Glasgow; Patsy (Doug) Dickson, Trenton; John Henderson (Pat Larsen), New Glasgow; granddaughter, Michelle (Patrick) Currie, Moncton; several great grandchildren; long-time companion, Kenny Izzard; former husband, Brooklyn Henderson; siblings: Isabelle (John) Hawley, Eastern Passage; Ivy (Sydney) Varner, New Brunswick; Christina (David) Halliday, Riverton; Gerry White, New Glasgow.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers: Kitchener Baynard “Junior” Langille Jr.; William Robert Langille; Allan Joseph White; sister, Ruth Ann Howard.
Cremation has taken place.
Arrangements for burial will be made at a later date in the Auburn Cemetery.
