LIPSETT, EARL S.
The passing of Earl Stanley Lipsett of New Maryland, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Monday, February 1, 2016. Earl was 87. Born in Marysville, NB on June 3, 1928, he was a son of the late John and Margaret (Greer) Lipsett.
Earl was a carpenter by trade and a woodsman all his life, however, his greatest passion was always being with family at his camps and driving his tractor. To his nieces and nephews he leaves a legacy and soulful influence for the great outdoors to cherish a lifetime. He was a member of the New Maryland United Church.
Earl leaves to mourn his passing a sister, Doris Gorman (Late Murray) of New Maryland; much loved nieces and nephews.
Earl was predeceased by his parents and siblings, Leonard Lipsett (late Mary), Ivan Lipsett, May Charters (late Dona), Margaret Booker (late Manford), Martha Hume (late Harold) and Helen Adel (late Fred).
Visitation will be held at the New Maryland United Church of Canada, 875 Route 101 Highway on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 7 to 9 PM. A celebration of Earl’s life will be held from the church on Thursday, February 4 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Kelly Burke officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
For those who wish to remember Earl by making a memorial contribution, the Alzheimer Society or a favorite charity of your choice has been suggested by the family.
