It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of a dear husband, father, grandfather and brother Robert 'Bob' Cole on Jan. 28, 2016 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, with loving family at his side.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Eugene and Barbara (Hollett) Cole.
Bob was employed with DEVCO for 27years as an electrician and was a member of Epworth United Church.
Bob had a love for watching the Montreal Canadiens playing hockey, but his greatest love was spending time with his family especially his five grandchildren.
Bob will be sadly missed by his wife of 43 years, Annalee; daughter, Chera; son, Chris (Sonya); grandchildren, Alisha, Tyler, Marc, Michael and Abby; sisters, Patricia 'Pat' (John) Schofield, Canning, N.S. and Linda (Sharon) Cole, Halifax and his four legged friend, Muffin, his cat.
Besides his parents, Bob was predeceased by a brother, Ivan Elmore Cole.
In following Bob’s wishes cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Patten Funeral Home, there will be a private family service at a later date.
Donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the Cape Breton Cancer Center.
