Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge, Carbonear, on Monday, February 1, 2016, Vivian Elizabeth George of Whiteway, aged 83 years. Predeceased by husband Robert (Bob), her parents William and Winnie Whyatt, her precious great-granddaughters Andrea and Becky Sparkes, brother Chesley Whyatt, and brother-in-law Winston Churchill. Leaving to mourn her seven children; James (Clara), Helen (Gary), Elaine (Jack), Lloyd (Jackie), Robert (Jo-Anne), Darryl (Karen), Kevin (Catherinanne), twelve grandchildren; Roger, Sherrie, Angela, Gary, Jennifer, John, Jason, Christopher, Adam, Jessica, Matthew and Sarah, sister Willowdeen (George) Locke, eighteen great-grandchildren, as well as a number of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. Resting at the Anglican Church of the Epiphany, Martins Pond Road, Heart's Delight-Islington on Wednesday, February 3rd, from 1-9 pm, and Thursday, February 4th, 10 am - 12 pm. The funeral service will be held from the Anglican Church of the Epiphany on Thursday, February 4th at 2 pm. Interment to follow at St. George the Martyr Anglican Cemetery, Whiteway. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Vivian's memory may be made to the Anglican Parish of the Epiphany, or a charity of one's choice.
