Redden, Wayne Ernest “Cotton”, age 59, of Martock, Hants Co., passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016, at the Q.E. II, Halifax Infirmary. Born on February 23, 1956, in Windsor, he is the son of Eleanor (Hebb) Redden, Martock and the late Ernest Redden. Wayne was a carpenter by trade. A known jokester to all who knew him, he will be missed by his family and friends. Surviving beside his mother, are his sons, Nick (Ginny), Centreville, NB; Tanner, Quispamsis, NB; grandchildren Jackson and Mason; siblings, Diane (Maynard) Martin, Coldbrook; Ted (Elaine), Newport Station; Darrell (Ruby), Three Mile Plains; Rick (Grace), Martock; special nieces and nephews, Jessie; Chris and Tasha, Marty and Glenn. A memorial service was 2 pm Friday, February 5, 2016, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel, 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, B0N 2T0. Pastor Craig Faulkner officiated, followed by a reception in the Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home. Interment was held in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor. No flowers by request, donations in memory of Wayne may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of choice.
