Arthur James (Art) Baron of Swift Current, SK passed away peacefully on February 2, 2016 at the age of 82 years. He was predeceased by his parents Henry & Barbara, son Darrell, brother Harvey, sisters Anne & Alice. After a successful career of several self-employed occupations, he enjoyed retirement, camping, travelling and spending time with his grandchildren. Art will be lovingly remembered by his wife Theresa of 57 years, children Sharon (Dean) McMillan, Wayne (Colleen) Baron, Gwen (Calvin) Wagner, (Debbie) Baron, plus several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Art was born June 24, 1933 at Mankota, SK. And moved to Swift Current in 1975. The highlight of his life was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. from Christ The Redeemer Roman Catholic Parish with Father Richard Jasiak MSF officiating. The pallbearers were: Cody Baron, Calin Wagner, Braden McMillan, Daryl Dickinson, Earl Baron and Kerry Baron.
