LeBLANC, MR. JOE
(1945 - 2016)
Kent Junction – Joseph LeBlanc, 70, of Kent Junction passed away on Monday, February 8th 2016 at the Miramichi Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Born, May 2nd, 1945, he is survived by his wife Marie (Whalen) LeBlanc and one daughter, Sandra (Ricky) Doiron of Ottawa. He was the son of late Arthur and late Annie (Chase) LeBlanc.
He leaves behind four sisters: Eveline Thériault (John) of Kent Junction, Stella Watt (Bernard) of South Nelson, Géraldine Vautour (Gérard) of St-Ignace and Thérèse Daigle of Pointe-Sapin; five brothers: Ernest LeBlanc (Beatrice) of Kent Junction, Ernest Daigle (Rena), Bernard Daigle, Donald Daigle all of Pointe-Sapin and Richard Kelly (Betty) of Toronto; many nieces and nephews, cousins and his furry friend Maggie.
He was predeceased by one newborn daughter Beverly Anne, one brother Anthony Kelly and one sister Betty Kelly Chiasson.
Joe had a passion for music and could be heard playing a variety of instruments. He was also the caretaker of St-Joseph Cemetery for many years.
The funeral service will be held at the St-François de Sales Roman Catholic Church in Rogersville, on Friday, February 12th at 1:30 pm by Father Doris Laplante and the burial in St-Joseph Cemetery later in the spring. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Donations to the St-Joseph Cemetery (Kent Junction) would be appreciated.
