LAMBROUGHTON, ALICE TRITES (neé DAYTON)
1922 - 2016
Peacefully at Maple Villa Long Term Care on February 12, 2016, Alice Trites (Dayton) Lambroughton of Burlington, Ontario in her 94th year.
Alice was predeceased by her husband David in 2002, sister Francis Crandall in 1995, brother-in-law Don Crandall in 2011 and nephew Bruce Mallory in 1990.
She is survived by daughter Jane Searle (Greg) of Sydney Australia, daughter Barbara Darragh (Greg (deceased 2014)), grandchildren Lisa, Margot and David Darragh, and great-grandchildren Nina, Jeremy, Eldon and Phoebe all of Auckland, New Zealand. Also survived by brother Frank “Mac” Dayton (Geraldine) of Moncton, New Brunswick and sister Carol Mallory of Burlington and nephew and niece Douglas and Janice Mallory who took an active role in her on-going care, as well as several other nieces and nephews in both Ontario and New Brunswick.
At Alice’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral. Cremation and service of remembrance to follow.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Maple Villa for the excellent care that Alice received over this past year.
