At the Wedgwood Manor, Summerside, surrounded by her family, Edith Elliott, aged 90 years, passed peacefully away on Sunday, February 14, 2016. Born in Cannings Cove, NF, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Eliza (Hobbs) Penny. Survived by her children Douglas Elliott, Thompson, MB; Lloyd (Jutta) Elliott, Charlottetown; Joyce (Lonnie) Kean, Summerside; Judy (Andrew) Elliott, Greenwood, NS; Hedley (Nancy) Elliott, Medicine Hat, AB; and Dianna (Peter) Jeans, Ottawa, ON.; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and a sister Hazel Chatman, NF. Predeceased by her husband Bond Elliott; daughter Yvonne Elliott; and son Ryden “Roy” Elliott. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Interment will take place later in Newfoundland. No visiting hours by personal request.
