Peacefully, and surrounded by her family at her home in Springhill on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, of Alice Lena Murray, aged 83 years, beloved wife of Ralph. Born in Inverness on July 18, 1932, daughter of the late William Lawson and Laura Mary (Shaw) McFadyen. Loving mother to Debbie Blacquiere, Springhill, and Lawson (Nila), Freeland. Dear grandmother to Michelle (Jason) Breitkreutz, Grand Prairie, AB; Angie (Chris) Lowther, North Bedeque; Lisa Blacquiere (Mitchell Gallant), Kensington; and great-grandmother to Hayley Breitkreutz and Wyatt David Lowther. Alice is also survived by her brother-in-law Harry Bryanton, Cape Wolfe, and sisters-in-law Goldie McFadyen, Howlan, and Lia Murray, Summerside. Predeceased by her parents, brother Charlie, sisters Ruby and Georgie, son William Lawson (infancy) and son-in-law David Blacquiere. Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Friday, Feb. 19, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral will be held on Saturday in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in People's Cemetery, Victoria West.
