The death occurred at Stewart Memorial Home, Tyne Valley, on Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, of Marjorie "Marge" Irene Coughlin, formerly of Murray Road, aged 88 years, wife of the late Benjamin Coughlin. Marge was born in McAdam, N.B., on April 6, 1927, daughter of the late Lee and Elmira (McLaughlin) James. Dear mom to Judy William, Tyne Valley, and her foster children Eric (Marilyn) Delaney, Red Deer, Alta; Darlene Howell, Summerside; Dennis (Louise) Delaney, Ellerslie; and Fred (Joan) Delaney, Travellers Rest. Loving grandmother to Marven (Gina) Williams, Steven (Marlene) Delaney, Krystal (Ronnie) MacLean, Tommy Howell, Kelley Howell and to six great-grandchildren. Marge is lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bob (Janet) Coughlin, Amelia Perry, Rose Annand, Bill (Geralda) Coughlin, Harold (Goldie) Coughlin, Ruth Tuplin, Stanley (Bernadette) Coughlin, Shirley (Phil) Dempsey, Art (Jean) Coughlin, Edna Coughlin and Hope James. Predeceased by her parents, husband Ben, sons-in-law Lorne Williams, Frank Howell, sisters Virginia, Annie, brothers Leo and Ronnie. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel for visiting hours on Monday, Feb. 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral will be held on Tuesday in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment in the Freeland United Church Cemetery. In memory of Marge, memorials to the Freeland United Cemetery or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
