Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Feb. 20, 2016, at Juravinski Hospital in his 79th year.
Predeceased by his wife Marjorie. Father of Robert (Lori), Corrine, Murray, and Keith. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Donny (Sonia), Breah, B.J., Robbie, Amber, Justin, and Brittany. His first great-grandchild is expected in August.
Survived by his sister Margaret Mary 'Peggy' Walsh, and nephews Robert and Billy; also sadly missed by brother-in-law, Shawn Pearson.
Predeceased by his brother-in-law Duke. He will especially be missed by his baby chihuahua Zena.
Special thanks to the staff at Juravinski Hospital for their compassionate care over the last year, and especially his nurse Marian.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 1919 King Street East, Hamilton, Ont., on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, from 10-11:30 a.m. followed by a Chapel Service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow to Gate of Heaven Cemetery. A luncheon will then take place at the Bedrock Bistro, 260 Queenston Rd.
