It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016 at the Seaview Manor.
Ann was born in Nfld., and was the daughter of the late John and Florence Dean.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by husband, William; sons, Dossie, James Howard, Eric, Barry; four brothers, six sisters, three half-brothers and three grandchildren.
Ann is survived by son, Donald (Marilyn); daughters, Dolly (Ron), Ann, Bev (Melvin) and Helen; also numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016 from 12-2 p.m. at Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay, with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date.
The family would like to thank the nursing and caregiver staff at Seaview Manor for their special care and thoughtfulness to our mother.
