At the Kings County Memorial Hospital the passing of Katherine Kilbride, age 84, of Cardigan, occurred on Tuesday, February 23, 2016.
She was the daughter of the late Lemuel and Pearl (Foley) Shephard.
Katherine will be greatly missed by her loving children, Pearl Rice (Gerry Campbell), Joey (Irene) Kilbride; brothers, Albert and Russell Shephard; grandchildren, Jamie, Alice, Jennifer (Matt), Andrew, Stephen (Rachel), Ellen; great-grandson, Logan; son-in-law, Lawrence Rice; along with a large circle of extended family and friends. Besides her parents she was predeceased by siblings Cecil, Lemuel, Raymond, Vera, Urban and Douglas. Katherine was also predeceased by Father Francis Corcoran.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Tuesday, March 1 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Wednesday, March 2 from All Saints Catholic Church, Cardigan at 10 a.m. followed by interment in the Parish Cemetery.
