ASOYUF, RICHARD P.
1945-2016
Miramichi – Richard Paul Asoyuf, long time partner of June Brysen, of Springwater Drive, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Tuesday evening, February 23, 2016, at the age of 70.
Born in Chatham, on October 27, 1945, he was the son of the late Alden and Clara (Carroll) Asoyuf.
He was a machine operator employed in the plywood industry. He attended St. Michaels Basilica, Miramichi and was a former usher in his church. He was a former member of the Miramichi Golf & Country Club.
He is survived by his mother, Clara Asoyuf, of Miramichi; his partner, June Bryson; four sisters, Gloria Driscoll (George), of Miramichi, Marlene Gillespie (Gary), of South Esk, Roxanne Hudgins (Keith) and Dianne Hamilton (Eric), all of Miramichi; four brothers, Ronald (Edna), of Moncton, Gerald (Kerry), of Victoria, B.C., Charles (Sharon), of Miramichi and Gary, of Miramichi; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Alden.
By request there will be no visitation. The public are invited to attend a memorial service to be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 29, 2016, at 2 pm, conducted by Father John Beaumaster. Interment will be in St. Michaels Cemetery, later in the spring.
