HAWKE, LORNA MADELINE
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Lorna Hawke on March 1, 2016, in her 91st year.
She was the beloved wife and best friend of William (Bill) Hawke for 70 years; Adored and amazing mother of Robert "Bob" (predeceased), Ted (Suzanne), Don (Bettyann) and Susan (Leslie); Cherished and loved grandma of 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Lew Bland (Margurite) of New Brunswick, Eric Bland (Evelyn) both predeceased, Basil Bland (predeceased), Sylvia LeBlanc (Fran) of Orillia and Dorothy Bland of New Brunswick. Daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy Bland. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and residences of Independent Suites of Orillia.
The family wishes to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff of Soldiers II for their wonderful care and compassion.
Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Friday, March 4th from 1 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Spring Interment: Coldwater Cemetery.
