Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on March 2, 2016, in the presence of her four loving daughters, at the age of 91. Predeceased by her husband Herbert; infant son; parents John W and Mary Emma Crane; sisters: Gertie (Leander Mercer), and Iris (Cyril Whitten); brothers: Joe (Olive), and Ralph; and brother-in-law John Peach. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her four daughters: Florence (Dave Morrissey), Glenys (Roger Powers), Donna (Ern Gosney), and Gaye (Ron King); nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister Jean Peach; brothers: Edward (Marina Crane) and Clyde (Beckey Crane); and sister-in-law Phyllis Crane. Special thanks to the staff of Hillcrest Estates for their much appreciated affectionate care and friendship. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Friday, March 4th, from 3-9 pm and on Saturday, March 5th, from 10 am - 12 pm. Funeral service to follow from Barrett's Chapel at 2 pm. Cremation to follow with interment to take place at later date.
