It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Joyce at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, ON., on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, in her 71st year, with her family at her side. Joyce is survived by her loving husband Edgar of 54 years, son Stephen Williams and his wife Carol and daughter Darlene and her husband Dan Glazier. Cherished grandmother of Justin (Amanda) Williams (nee Perry), Lindsay Williams (Harrison McIver), Amanda Williams, Jacob and Drew Glazier, and great-grandson Lincoln Williams. She will be fondly remembered by her brothers and sisters, Billy Biggar of Summerside, PEI, Emmett (Deletra) Biggar of Port Dover, ON, Bruce Biggar of Oshawa, ON, Sherry (Bruce) Bujold of Gaspe, QC, Jackie (Carol) Biggar of Summerside, PEI, also brothers and sisters-in-law Sylvia (Willard) Howell of Summerside, PEI, Lionel (Betty-Lou) Williams of Bancroft, ON, Harry (Ann) Williams of Summerside, PEI, George (Christine) Williams of Whitby, ON, Robert (Sandra) Williams of Poplar Grove, PEI. Survived by her Aunt Elga Ramsay of Summerside, PEI. Predeceased by her parents Johnny and Ruby Biggar (nee Murphy) of Tyne Valley, PEI, and parents-in-law George and Muriel Williams (nee MacDonald) of Poplar Grove, PEI, sisters Kay (Jim) Morrison, Anita Hanley and Judy, also sister-in-law Joyce Williams (nee Noye). Joyce will be missed by her many special nieces and nephews, friends in Canada and Florida. Visitation will be held at Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Rd, Scarborough, ON., M1K 2B5, on Saturday, March 5, from 1 p.m. till 3 p.m. Memorial service at 3 p.m. Interment and memorial service will be held at a later date at St. John's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Ellerslie, PEI.
