Anne Ethier was born in Humboldt, SK, on Thursday, May 13, 1920. Through her years, she worked at many jobs, including working as a waitress, a store clerk, a nurse’s aide and a book keeper. Anne loved children and spent over 25 years working with the Brownies and Girl Guides, spending many happy hours camping with them. Anne was also a volunteer visitor for 15 years. She loved curling, fishing, dancing, bowling, ball and cards of all kinds and “her Louis”. Anne is survived by her husband, Louis, her children, Jean Ryan, Jim (Pilar) Smith, Jackie (Lionel) Vandale, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews and her siblings. She was predeceased by her parents, Mike and Louise (nee Hall) Grunsky, her first husband, Joseph Smith, her three brothers, and her two sisters in infancy. A memorial service for Anne will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to River Park Memorial Chapel, Colette Kadziolka, Funeral Director
