It is with great sadness that the family of the late Barbara Ursula Hurley announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the age of 83 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Leo Mitchell (Linda); sisters Nell Atkins and Irene Doucett; four grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; her much loved fury companions Rocky and Hunter; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In keeping with Barbara's wishes, cremation will take place. There will be no visitation or Memorial Service. Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
