Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Saturday, March 5, 2016, surrounded by his loving family William Joseph Jordan age 78 years. Predeceased by his parents Winnifred and Thomas Jordan and his wife Lorraine (nee Jones), brothers; Thomas, Kevin and Norman and sister Margaret Janes, son-in-law John Bambrick and special Uncle Pat Jordan and wife Pauline. Left with fond and loving memories are his five daughters Liz (Jenette) Bragg (Gordie), Shirley Bambrick, Carolann Jordan (Chris), Sharon Coady (Terry) and Jackie Hickey (David) and his only son Billy (Marge); sixteen grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren with his newest great grandson due in July; three brothers Jack (Judy), Patrick (Barb) and Wallace and six sisters Mary Norman (John-deceased), Nola Jordan (Wal), Barb Jordan (Hughie), Christine McCormick (Jim), Myrtle Jordan, Winnie Jordan. Very special friend Alice Norman and the Norman family as well as the Jones family and many other family and friends especially his card buddies and all his former longshore co-workers. Thank you to Dr. Phair and his team as well as the nurses of 4 west for your compassion and kindness over the last week. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, 84 Lemarchant Road on Monday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. Funeral mass of Christian burial to take place on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. from St. John Bosco Church with cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
