Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Sunday, March 6th, 2016, at age 80 with family by her side. Predeceased by parents Brian and Alice Rita Walsh, infant brother Gordon, and great-granddaughter Kaitlyn. Leaving to mourn husband John of 58 years; children: Bernadette (Bill), Joseph (Jackie), John (Louise), Jerome, and Neal (Lou-Anne). Also morning her loss brothers: Thomas (Verna), and Brian (Sheila); sisters: Eileen, Patricia (Mike), Angela (Bob), and Marilyn (Ray). Grandchildren: Steven (Natasha), Scott (Brenda), Joseph (Jessica), Sharon (Stewart), Falon (Allen), John, Jordon, Natashia, Sarah, Daniella, Michael, and Billy. Great Grandchildren: Austin, Scarlet, Abigail, Ethan, and Brent. The family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the very caring and professional staff at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital CCU for their dedicated care over the past several days. Thank you to Compassion Home Care workers for their care over the past 2 1/2 years. Resting at Flaherty's Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, with visitation on Tuesday, March 8th from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place from St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Conception Harbour on Wednesday, March 9th, 2016, at 10:30am. Interment to follow in St. Anne's Cemetery, Conception Harbour. Margaret took pride and enjoyment in working for the parish and its fund raising efforts.
