Taylor, Russell Everett – 79, Truro Heights passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 29, 2016 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Clementsvale, Annapolis Co., he was the son of the late Everett and Bertha (Trimper) Taylor. Russell spent most of his life driving trucks for various trucking companies. He loved his home, his family and his church. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Nancy (Robbins); son, Robin (Janet), Ft. McMurray, AB and grandson, Joshua, Calgary; son, Al (Karen) Langille and grandsons, Jesse, Lucas, all of Hilden; sister, Betty (Harvey), Dukeshire; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Rose White. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 9 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, in Colchester Community Funeral Home 512 Willow Street, Truro with a memorial service on Thursday, March 10 at 2 pm in Truro Heights United Baptist Church with Pastor Connie Stewart officiating. Spring interment in Lower Onslow Clarke Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Truro Heights United Baptist Church, Heart and Stroke Foundation of N.S. or the Canadian Diabetes Association or charity of choice.
