The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Monday, March 7, 2016, of Jean MacFarlane, of Albany, aged 89 years.
Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Laura (Stavert) MacCallum and step-daughter of Jennie (Waugh) MacCallum.
Survived by her children Noel (Karen) MacFarlane, Dorothy Lynn (David) Wheeler, and Kent (Carol) MacFarlane; grandchildren Jeffrey MacFarlane, Holly (Mark) Sutherland, Connor and Clyde Wheeler; Matt, Maggie and Jesse MacFarlane; great-granddaughter Charlotte Jean Sutherland; brother Ralph (Pearl) MacCallum and his twin brother Lorne MacCallum; sisters Marina (George) Campbell and Dianne (Daniel) McLure; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Norman MacFarlane; sisters-in-law Edna MacCallum, Dorothy (Enzley) Campbell and brother-in-law Everett (Louise) MacFarlane.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to Bedeque United Church, Bedeque, for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment later in Searletown Cemetery, Searletown.
Visiting hours Wednesday from 3-6 p.m.
