It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our brother John Douglas Dawe of Edmonton on March 6, 2016, at the age of 57.
Born in Sydney, Johnnie resided in Edmonton, but, his heart was always in Cape Breton.
Johnnie was predeceased by his wife, Francine Washbrook; also by parents, Betty and Edward Dawe; sisters, Lillian and Linda.
Johnnie is survived by children, Matthew, Jay and Cindy of Edmonton; sisters, Elizabeth Tuppert (Rick) of Dartmouth, Diane Hansen (Roddie), Debbie Moore (Dan) of Mira, Patrica of Sydney; brothers, Wilfred, Joe (Susan) of Sydney; nieces, nephews and grandnieces.
The family will be having a private ceremony at a later date.
