The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, surrounded by family on March 13, 2016, of Audrey M. Doucette, Greenmount Road, aged 78 years. Beloved wife of 57 years to James Doucette. Born in Nail Pond on Sept. 5, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Melvin T. and Lena (Perry) LeClair. Dear mother to Brenda Gaynes (Terry), Alliston, Ont.; Janet Doucette, Oakville, Ont., and Carol Butler (Glenn), Oshawa, Ont. Loving grandmother to Stephanie, Jennifer, Stacey, Jessica, Brandon, Kelly Anne and great-grandmother to Travis, Gavin, Eli and Abigail. She is survived by siblings Leonard LeClair, Stephen LeClair, Phyllis Weatherbie, Irma Gaudet, Lorraine Kasprisin, Ann Marie Morrison, Paula LeClair, Janet Carragher and June LeClair. She was predeceased by parents Melvin and Lena, brothers Austie, Omer, Melvin Jr. and great-grandson Tyler. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road, for visiting hours Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish, with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Celebrant Rev.
