The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Friday, March 11, 2016, of Lillian Rita Deighan (nee Jeffery) of Summerside, aged 62 years. Lillian was born in Alberton, P.E.I., to her mother Mildred (nee Bernard) Jeffery and her father the late Roy Jeffery. Beloved wife of Carl Deighan and loving mother of Sean Deighan, Rebecca (Josh) Sewell, all of Summerside, and Peter Deighan of Victoria, B.C. Also lovingly remembered by her three grandchildren, Silas, Parker and Scarlett, and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her brothers Leroy Jeffery (Susan), Jim Jeffery and sister Beverley Jeffery, all of Summerside. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Tuesday, March 14, when a service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 4 p.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside, at a later date. Memorial donations in Lillian’s memory to the funeral expense fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until time of service.
