Paul East age 54 years of Orkney, Saskatchewan died on Monday, March 7, 2016 at Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, Saskatchewan after a courageous year and a half battle with cancer always having his loving family by his side. He was born at Climax, Saskatchewan on March 13, 1961 and attended school in Orkney to grade three and then to grade eight at Val Marie. Paul was passionate about the family farm. He began farming at an early age and continued to live and work on the farm the rest of his life. He was very innovative and resourceful when managing his farm. He loved hunting, fishing, trapping, snowmobiling and was an avid pool player. Paul married his best friend, Marcella Cherniwchan on July 17, 1982 at Climax. Paul was always very helpful and when helping someone he would see it through right to the end.
